The Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) is an independent policy research think tank established in Tanzania for the purposes of undertaking research and providing evidence to support economic management process in Tanzania.

Dr. Mugisha Rweyemamu has a PhD in Economics, specializing in Econometrics, Industrial and Development economics. He is a Research Fellow at the Economic and Social Research Foundation, Tanzania, in Strategic Research and Publication Department. |

Vivian Kazi is a senior researcher and a Head of Strategic Research and Publications at ESRF. She has a background in Statistics, trade and policy analysis. She has over 15 years of experience in policy research and has been working on agriculture sector, trade and finance with the Government and non-Government policy actors in Tanzania and other countries. |
