The activities of the Global Change Research Institute – CzechGlobe focus on issues of environmental sciences, and in particular on the problem of global climate change. CzechGlobe brings together ecological, sociological and technical expertise in conducting research with a global impact.

Julia Leventon
is an environmental social scientist with expertise in societal transformations and governance for sustainability. She works with transdisciplinary, critical systems thinking methodologies and explores solutions for addressing underlying drivers of unsustainability. She has worked on topics including food, textiles, water and forestry. She is head of the department of Human Dimensions of Global Change at CzechGlobe. 
 Lenka Sucha CZG
Lenka Suchá
  is a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Social-Ecological Analysis (SE Lab) at CzechGlobe. She has a background in development studies, now focusing on transformations towards sustainability. Her work builds on transdisciplinary methodologies and system thinking. She is interested in interplays of food system transformation conceptualisations across diverse actors.
